Rates and rules

Prices by season, a price for every day.

Each room type gets a base price, a minimum stay and a price for each extra guest, and periods such as July or May weekends get prices of their own. Porta turns that into a price for every day two years ahead, and any single day can be changed in the calendar.

    Periods and weekdays

A period has dates and, if you like, weekdays, with its own price and minimum stay for each room type. The narrower period wins.

  2. 02

    Each day on its own

In the calendar a day can get its own price, minimum or maximum stay, no arrival, no departure or closed sale. A change you make by hand stays when the rates change.

  3. 03

    Children, meals and linked rates

Up to three age groups for children (free, a fixed amount or a share of the adult price), rates with breakfast or half board, and a rate that follows another by a percentage.

Can I have more than one rate?

Yes, each with its name, meals and cancellation terms. One is the default, and for each you choose whether it sells on your own website.

How are extra guests priced?

A room type has a base occupancy and a price for each adult above it; children have their own age groups.

Can I give a discount?

Yes, with a code on your own website: a percentage or an amount, for chosen dates, with a minimum number of nights and a limit on uses.

Can I close sales for one day?

Yes, in the calendar, for a whole room type or for only some of its units.
