Who we are

Porta and the destination sites are run by BOKO d.o.o. For questions about your data, write to hello@porta.link.

Hosts' data

For hosts and their teams we keep what an account needs: name, e-mail, phone, the property's details and the billing details of the account. We use them to provide Porta, to send the account's mail and to invoice the plan.

Guests' data

Guest details in Porta belong to the host who received the booking. Porta processes them on the host's behalf and only for the stay: the reservation, messages, registration with eVisitor, invoices and the guest portal. A document photo scanned in the portal is read on the guest's device and never uploaded.

Where the data is kept

The app runs on Vercel and the database on Neon, both in Frankfurt; backups are kept with Cloudflare in the EU. Card payments are processed by Stripe on the host's own account, and e-mail is sent through Brevo. Adriana's suggestions are made with Anthropic's Claude, which receives only the text it is asked to translate or answer.

Connecting Gmail and Outlook

When a host connects Gmail, Porta receives Google's permission to send e-mail on the host's behalf only (gmail.send). With it Porta does not read, search, change or delete anything in the mailbox, and sends only messages the host wrote, approved or scheduled. When a host connects Outlook, Porta also receives permission to read mail (Mail.Read), so guests' e-mails reach their conversations; only guest e-mails and enquiries are taken into Porta. Access tokens are kept encrypted. Porta's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

As long as the account is open and the law requires afterwards, for example for invoices. A host can export or delete a guest's data from the guest's page in Porta.

Your rights

You can ask what we keep about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive it in a portable form, or object to its use. Write to hello@porta.link. You may also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
